When Popeyes debuted its inaugural chicken sandwich in 2019, it was nothing short of a national phenomenon. The launch’s great success put the entire QSR industry on notice and quickly led to all of Popeyes’ competitors introducing a chicken sandwich of their own.
Now, Popeyes is launching its new Blackened Chicken Sandwich, and we decided to help our competitors by releasing the Blackened Chicken Sandwich’s ingredients for them to try their best at copying it while poking fun at the lengths they’ll go to master chicken like us.

And our campaign somehow made it onto The Late Late Show for an entire segment completely organically.
